Priyanka chopra And Nick Jonas Wedding
Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas Wedding
After Four-month Engagement, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are Officially Married.
They both honored each other’s heritage & culture and celebrated their union in a Western wedding, followed by a Hindu wedding the next day.
Priyanka wore the most colourful wedding dress we have ever seen, and it’s beautiful. Priyanka looked like a vision in a fabulously folksy, fluorescent colored organdy ensemble, inspired by the vintage Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla collection, teamed with heirloom jewellery designed by the designer duo and crafted by SABOO using rubies that were collected over generations. Priyanka completed her look with a pair of Gold and Silver juttis by Needledust.
The essence of the sangeet was best summed up by the bride, who wrote: "It all began as a fierce song and dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love."
For their enchanting wonderland themed Sangeet, Priyanka adorned a fully hand-embroidered sequins sari in gold and silver by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla which she accessorized with a dazzling cascading diamond choker paired with earrings and bangles that added the final touches to her glamorous look. Smiling all the way, Priyanka went for nude tones with her make-up and styled her hair in a side-parted sleek manner. From the glittery blouse and beautiful hair to her minimal makeup as well as the understated glam of her saree, her sangeet ensemble had ‘desi girl’ written all over it.
The couple solemnized their relationship with a White wedding, followed by a traditional ceremony as per Hindu customs at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. For their big day, Priyanka and Nick, both wore custom designs by American designer, Ralph Lauren. Nick was in black tux And The bride was a vision in her dream wedding gown which was an exquisite hand-beaded and hand-embroidered dress with floral and scroll motifs. Featuring scalloped sleeves, lace-effect tulle appliqués, a high-neck collar and a long tulle veil that reached 75 feet.
For the Hindu wedding, Priyanka wore a red Sabyasachi lehenga for the wedding and Nick a golden sherwani. She accentuated her look with diamond jewellery. Custom-made by the designer with his aesthetic brilliance, the lehenga featured hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss and layers of Thread work.
Priyanka and Nick got married in a two-part wedding ceremony in Jodhpur over the weekend. This is the first reception the couple are hosting. Priyanka and Nick also posed for a photo-op at the venue. Priyanka looked resplendent in a silver lehenga while Nick complemented her in a black tuxedo. Priyanka accentuated her new bride look with matching jewellery. She wore her hair in a bun adorned with flowers. The couple were accompanied by their respective families on the stage.
