Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas will get married in Jodhpur, with a three-day celebration from 30 November to 2 December. After their roka and engagement earlier this year, the dream wedding will take place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Earlier this month, the couple was spotted en route to Jodhpur at the airport. The wedding at Umaid Bhavan Palace is likely to be an intimate affair, with only 200 people—close friends and family—in attendance. Prior to the nuptials, Priyanka Chopra will have a bridal shower in New York for all her Hollywood friends to attend.

Why Jodhpur?

The real question is why not? Besides it being absolutely gorgeous, the destination is also a celebrity favourite. In 2007, Hollywood actress Liz Hurley married beau Arun Nayar at the famed Umaid Bhawan Palace. Star couples Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, along with Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai were also rumoured to have picked Umaid Bhavan Palace as a wedding venue initially, before changing it to accommodate their large guest lists. In 2013, Nita Ambani’s grand 50th birthday celebrations also took place at the same property.
