Manek Chowk
Manek Chowk, built by Rana Karan Singh I, is the largest courtyard of the City Palace complex. It is accessible on the north by Tripolia (three door), on the east by the Suraj Pol and to the south by a passage that leads to Lake Pichola and the Hathi Pol (elephant gate). To the west the Toran Pol leads us into the Moti Chowk and City Palace.

Mor Chowk
City Palace. Mor Chowk (Patio of the Peacocks), constructed by Sajjan Singh in century XIX. A total of 5,000 pieces of mosaic of green, blue crystal and gold, as well as concave mirrors evoke the elegant movements of the birds that are the symbol of the Rajasthan.
Mor Chowk or Peacock square is integral to the inner courts of the palace. The elaborate design of this chamber consists of three peacocks (representing the three seasons of summer, winter and monsoon) modeled in high relief and faced with coloured glass mosaic, built into successive niches in the wall area or jharoka, These were built during Maharana Sajjan Singh’s reign, 200 years after the palace was established.
Shiv Niwas Palace
